Hi,
Today I received an email from Codester stating that my item was rejected with the reason simply being: "Not suitable for sale." However, there was no further clarification provided.
I would like to understand the reason behind the rejection, especially considering that my application performs significantly better than many existing items on Codester. Here are some key highlights of my application:
Desktop Mode:
- Performance: 95%
- Accessibility: 93%
- Best Practices: 100%
- SEO: 100%
Mobile Mode:
- Performance: 99%
- Accessibility: 93%
- Best Practices: 100%
- SEO: 100%
In addition, the application includes a fully functional backend admin dashboard, is built entirely from scratch, and offers complete dynamic website management — allowing customers to customize content directly from the admin panel.
Given the above, I’m unable to understand why it was rejected. I would appreciate it if you could provide more specific feedback so I can make the necessary improvements.

NextMAS 1 month agoI received "rejection" ones because there are already many scripts in the same category.
Codester is limiting few kind of PHP Script. Mine was Streaming Site. -
acalacatz 1 month agoYou can see here:
Approved Product:
It does not have a back end admin dashboard. It's a very simple PHP website, yet it was approved:
https://www.codester.com/items/52110/online-age-calculator
https://age.megawptools.com/
In comparison, my application features a custom-designed admin dashboard with back end customization options, allowing end users to easily edit their website in Admin dashboard without any coding knowledge. Additionally, it includes a unique feature that lets users compare the ages of two individuals simultaneously.
My Application:
Frontend: https://vtucalculator.in/
Admin Dashboard: https://vtucalculator.in/admin/

The issue is that the Codester review team did not properly evaluate the application. My admin dashboard includes login log functionality, and the logs clearly show that no one apart from me has logged in. This indicates that the review was done solely based on the frontend, which likely led to the unfair rejection.
Thank You -
NextMAS 1 month agoI understand. You should retry submitting it and in the comment section mention features and uniqueness of your script.

The issue could be that , we are currently very selective in with accepting tool scripts. Officially we actually dont accept them anymore.
That is because there are free alternatives on that can be downloaded from Github etc. Then there is the value of the item itself. Most of these script can be build within an half an hour and you can question the value. Also there is a LOT of copying going on. Making it high risk items and most simply don't sell.
If you there it is an error of the reviewer, you can submit your item again.
