Larzan Sep 26, 2024Hi Frederick,
i indeed do NOT receive the error anymore, but the problem still remains.
It looks like the same function from rocket-loader.min.js is hooked multiple times to the click event of the element, maybe that is the problem?
Cheers

Larzan Sep 26, 2024Ok, i think i found the problem.
Steps to reproduce:
* Open an incognito windows in chrome
* deny all cookies
then the dropdowns don't work -
Larzan Sep 26, 2024Only when i also allow the Marketing cookies it works. -
Codemarket63 Sep 26, 2024I just did the test and I confirm! you must accept all cookies for the menu to function normally. -
Codemarket63 Sep 26, 2024Thank You Larzan ! -
Larzan Sep 26, 2024My pleasure,
but @Frederick, marketing cookies should not impede the functionality of the site, that is still a problem that you should fix.
It still does not work without marketing... -
megawebpl 5 months agoHello,
I just tested the website and can confirm that the main navigation/menu only works if the user accepts all cookies. If a visitor rejects cookies, the menu becomes unusable and navigation is completely broken (including access to customer account pages).
This is a serious issue for both sellers and buyers:
From a user experience perspective, the site becomes very difficult to use if someone doesn’t want to accept cookies.
From a legal/GDPR perspective, functional navigation should not depend on cookie consent.
From a business perspective, this likely discourages potential buyers. If users cannot easily navigate the site, they may simply give up and leave instead of completing a purchase.
I already have hundreds of visits to my product but zero sales. This bug is very likely contributing to that problem.
Please escalate this issue and fix it as soon as possible. Sellers are losing potential revenue because of this.
Thank you. -
Larzan 5 months agoHi @megawebpl, as you can see from the delay and lack of responses from the page's administrator, this page is pretty much dead.
They didn't fix this crucial bug in over a year and won't accept help to do it either, so if they don't act on sth. that critical i think it is safe to say that our time is wasted here. -
There has been an update. Has the issue been fixed for everybody? -
Larzan 4 months agoHi @Frederick, yes, the menu works now even if i select 'only essential cookies' option.
What does NOT work anymore now is the 'only essential cookies' option as the google analytics, google tagmanager, facebook, ... scripts get loaded anyways.
So the webpage is now not GDPR compliant anymore.
Would probably have been better to leave it broken, that way it would not have been illegal at least
