Core Academic Management

• Subjects Management: Define subjects with codes, names, and mark them as principal (counts toward final grade) or non-principal (appears on report but doesn't affect grading)
• Grading Systems: Flexible configuration of grading scales (A, B, C) and division systems (I, II, III, IV) based on Tanzanian standards

Before installation, ensure your server meets the following minimum requirements:

1. Web Server: Apache / Nginx / IIS
2. PHP Version: 7.4 or higher (8.0+ recommended)
3. Database: MySQL 5.7 or higher / MariaDB 10.3 or higher

Follow these steps to deploy the SRMS on your server:
1. Upload Files: Upload all the system files from the provided package to your web server's
root directory (e.g., public_html, www, or htdocs).
2. Create Database: Create a new MySQL database for the SRMS using your hosting control
panel (e.g., cPanel) or a database management tool like phpMyAdmin.
3. Configure Database Connection:
o Locate the configuration .env
o Edit this file with your database details: DB_HOST (usually localhost), DB_PORT,
DB_NAME, DB_USERNAME and DB_PASSWORD.
