Overview
Create a clean Google Merchant feed from WooCommerce without setting up a heavy multi-channel feed system.
Merchant Feed Generator Lite for WooCommerce helps store owners generate Google Merchant XML and CSV feeds from WooCommerce products, review product data before submission, and export simple product feed warnings.
It is designed for sellers who want a lightweight Google Merchant feed URL, not a complex multi-channel feed manager.
This plugin does not connect to your Google account. It creates a local Google Merchant feed URL that you can submit manually in Google Merchant Center.

Why this plugin exists
Many WooCommerce product feed plugins are built as large multi-channel systems with many marketplaces, templates, rules, and integrations.
Merchant Feed Generator Lite focuses on one job:
Generate a clean Google Merchant XML/CSV feed from WooCommerce and show useful preflight warnings before submission.
It is not a replacement for advanced multi-channel feed platforms. It is a lightweight feed generator for store owners who want a simple Google Merchant feed workflow.
Preflight Product Data Warnings
The plugin checks your products before and during feed generation and shows useful warnings such as:
- Missing product image
- Missing GTIN, MPN, or Brand
- Empty product description
- Duplicate feed ID
- Variation missing color or size
- Price not available
- Product not purchasable
- Image URL not absolute
- Product excluded from feed
- Missing Google product category
- Invalid condition value
- Invalid availability value
Warnings include the product name, SKU, issue type, suggested fix, and an edit link where available.
Variation Support
Variable products can be exported as individual feed items. Each variation can use its own ID, SKU, price, attributes, image, and product data. Variations are grouped with item_group_id so Google Merchant Center can understand related product variants.
Supported Feed Formats
- XML feed
- CSV feed
The plugin creates tokenized feed URLs that can be copied from the WordPress admin dashboard.
Product Fields
Merchant Feed Generator Lite adds product-level feed fields for:
- GTIN
- MPN
- Brand
- Google product category
- Condition
- Exclude from feed
Variation-level fields are also available for key feed data, with fallback to the parent product where appropriate.
Category Mapping
You can map WooCommerce product categories to Google product category values. Product-level Google category values take priority over category-level mappings.
Feed Preview
The admin feed preview shows the first feed items in a simple table so you can review IDs, titles, availability, price, brand, GTIN, MPN, item_group_id, and warnings before using the feed.
