  If you use your own CSE IDs. Then from the Google CSE Dashboard. You can create "promotions". That is, keyword based results that will appear at the top of your search result.
  
  For example:
  https://based.mirazmac.com/search?engine=1&q=Hello
  
  When you search for Hello, the first result is a promoted result based on the query.

  The logos are working perfectly fine. Perhaps this is a caching issue. Do a few hard reload with CTRL+Shit+R or manually clear your browser cache and see if that resolves it.

  Okay on the search page the image doesn't indeed show up. That's because the image URL is incorrect.

  Brilliant, I am testing that now. As for googles search ads, I have it switched on on the engines and not turned it off on my google search engine, but they are not displaying. How do I ensure that is happening? I intend on using Google Adsense with this.

  It won't display just like this. First you need to create your own CSE from https://cse.google.com then set that ID to the script.
  
  And then you need to get approved and connect your CSE to AdSense from the CSE dashboard.

  Hey, so I have created my own CSE for all now but have not connected to adsense yet. On my direct link with CSE they should with the sponsored posts.   Those are just default Google ads, has nothing to do with Adsense, only Google benefits from that so it's hidden for the script.

  My understanding was that once I join Adsense for my CSE that I would get a share of the revenue from those ads. I have set the engines to show ads, but still nothing.

  No that's not it. You need to connect AdSense to your CSE from the CSE Dashboard.

  I have not done so yet. But how does your script know when that has been done and to show ads? I have switched the toggles on the engines to show ads already. And the link I sent earlier shows It's switched on from the CSE side?

  It knows because it uses the CSE JS API to render the results. It just renders and styles the results, everything that is provided is up to Google themselves. So if they provide ads, it would be shown. Vice-versa.

  It should show, if you have enabled "Display Search Ads" for that specific engine. And try using the same query and see if the ad appear.

  Could be a filter from Google's side, based on the domain and what not. The script doesn't (can't) control the returned data. It can only render the results and style them.

  That would simply add ad codes you place them, you can use use any ad rotating service to make them relevant to the queries and what not.

  That is up to you. But as Google AdSense rules say, you shouldn't put AdSense code for content that isn't generated by you. You are better off connecting the AdSense account to the CSE(s) directly.

  It doesn't need any paid API.
  Google CSE has been here since 2006. I can't promise that it will be here forever as it's a third party service. But it's been here for this long.

  That's because your file manager ignored the .htaccess file, it can happen because cPanel filemanager by default has the option "Show hidden (dotfiles)" disabled. So, always make sure the .htaccess file is present at the root of the files (where index.php file is present). If the .htaccess file is present and you're still getting this error, then delete the existing .htaccess file and upload the one from the script's Main Files.
  
  If this doesn't solve the issue, let me know.

  I can see that you have placed the files all wrong. If you follow the documentation, it says you need to upload "the contents inside the folder Main Files". You have uploaded the entire package. Please move the contents of the Main Files folder to public_html.

  This could happen because of numerous reasons, for example if the PHP version doesn't match, one or more of the required extensions are not enabled. To check what's causing the error, open the file: src/constants.php file and set the constant DEV_MODE to true, like this:
  
  define('DEV_MODE', true);
  
  Alternatively you can check the log files from here: src/var/logs/. And solve the issue according to the error message. If you still can't figure out the issue or resolve it, please do let me know.

  Hello.
  1. I don't promise anything about monetization, the script only offers functionalities how the end user implements it or integrates it is up to them.
  
  2. I'm planning on a new rewrite but it will take time. The script is currently at the best possible state of what can be done with the Google CSE API. But I do update when there is a bug.
  
  3. You can use your own CSE IDs and if those Programmable Engines have monetization enabled, ads will be shown.
  
  4. You can change the entire design if you're proficient in PHP, HTML and CSS.

  The installation process is mentioned in the documentation that comes with the script. However, you do need little bit of knowledge on how to navigate a cPanel/edit files etc.
