5 months agoknoffs Purchasedis there any way to include leaderboards per game? -
5 months agoUddipan242 AuthorCurrently, no. But I can add that. In the next update, I'm overhauling the leaderboard to make it more visual and also adding a dedicated page to display the leaderboards.

5 months agoeyubek PurchasedHi Uddipan242,
First, thank you for your great work on the PlayByte script. After installing and testing it, I find it very promising and ahead of many other game portal scripts in both design and functionality.
As an active user who's now integrating PlayByte into a live project, I wanted to suggest some improvements and feature additions that I believe would significantly enhance the script and user/admin experience:
🔧 Admin Panel Improvements
Game Management Enhancements
Enable selecting from already-created categories when adding games manually.
Add support for tags with bulk tagging, filtering, and organization options.
Allow batch operations: AI description generation, tagging, changing categories, and deleting/unpublishing multiple games at once.
Allow editing of embed codes and game URLs directly from the edit game screen (instead of through the database).
Custom Styling
Add a custom CSS input section in the admin panel for better UI personalization.
Menu System
Allow creation of dynamic menu items based on existing categories and tags.
Add native header navigation for better user experience.
📊 Analytics & Reporting
Integrate basic Google Analytics setup through the admin panel.
Enhance the dashboard with stats like:
Most played games
Most active users
Game views and engagement metrics
🌍 Compliance & Legal Tools
Add a cookie consent banner for GDPR compliance.
Provide account management options for users:
Export data
Request deletion
💬 User Engagement Features
Enable comment sections under games.
Add thumbs up/down or rating options for each game.
Introduce a "Play Random Game" button.
Enable Contact Us page creation via admin.
📱 Mobile & UI Enhancements
Improve mobile responsiveness and menu layout.
Add optional PWA (Progressive Web App) support and settings.
I hope these suggestions help guide your next updates. If you already plan to implement some of them, I’d love to know what's on the roadmap. Again, thank you for your effort and for maintaining such a solid script—I'm looking forward to the future of PlayByte! -
5 months agoUddipan242 AuthorCompliance and legal tools are already included. Users can download their data, and a cookie consent popup is also present. You can add analytics code via /admin/code-and-ads (under the "Head Code" section). Similarly, for custom CSS, you can add it in the same "Head Code" section, wrapped in <style>...</style> tags.
Regarding manual game addition, when you add a category, any existing manual game will automatically be assigned to that category if it matches.

I'm planning to purchase this script for my gaming website:
1. **RTL Support??:** Can I customize the mobile navigation to appear from the right side?
2. **Custom Games:** Can I upload my own HTML5 games easily?
3. **Customization:** Will my modifications survive script updates?
4. **Documentation:** Do you provide customization guides?
Thanks for your time! - View 3 more replies

6 months agoUddipan242 AuthorNo most likely if i don't do a major css overall your'e fine. There will no no big major changes in look but before updating make sure to backup so that you can always rollback.

6 months agoalibentaleb PurchasedThank you very much for the detailed clarification!
Your response is very helpful and reassuring.
Your support and responsiveness have been excellent throughout this conversation. I'm impressed with the level of detail and honesty in your answers.
I'll definitely consider PlayByte as a strong option for my gaming website project.
Thanks again for your time and transparency!
Best regards, -

6 months agovbaba PurchasedAfter installing and checking the script on my own it works good and looks promising. Thanks for your effort.
I add all my games manually in certain categories.
So Can you also note these?:
-By adding games manually it is not possible to select already created categories. Categories must be selectable
-There is no tag function in the script. How to tag games?
-There is actually no menu options. (can be created manually but categories are not selectable. For every category i must create a custom link) and menu is not on the header.
-a Custom css option must be also in admin panel.
-AI description function works good but for every game i need to edit games press generate and then save. Can you do it on games menu select games and generate description with ai?
-also select games and add tag, change categories, delete, umpublish etc.
-There is also no option to edit gameurl or embed_code in edit game menu. Should i do it everytime in db?
- On the left side bar there's popular games but it shows categories..
-
6 months agoUddipan242 AuthorQ. By adding games manually, it is not possible to select already created categories. Categories must be selectable.
A. For manually adding games, you can simply type the name of the category in the Categories field (comma-separated), and it will automatically add the game to that category.
Q. There is no tag function in the script. How can I tag games?
A. There are no tags because usually the game providers don’t provide any tags in their API.
Q. There are actually no menu options. (Menus can be created manually, but categories are not selectable. For every category, I must create a custom link.) Also, the menu is not displayed in the header.
A. You can create menus from Admin > Menus and add them there. You can select the menu to appear as the header or footer. (The header menu is displayed in the sidebar—that’s how the layout of this script is designed.)
Q. A custom CSS option must also be available in the admin panel.
A. For custom CSS, you can add it in /admin/code-and-ads under the Head Code section. Just wrap your CSS inside <style>your CSS</style> tags.
Q. The AI description function works well, but for every game I need to edit the game, press generate, and then save. Can you make it possible to select games in the games menu and generate descriptions with AI in bulk?
A. OK, I’ll add bulk description generation with AI for multiple selected games.
Q. Can I select multiple games to add tags, change categories, delete, unpublish, etc.?
A. You can already edit, delete, and change categories of games from /admin/games. I will look into extending this to bulk actions like tagging and unpublishing.
Q. There is no option to edit the game URL or embed code in the Edit Game menu. Do I have to do this every time directly in the database?
A. Changing the embed URL will cause the games not to work correctly with the providers, so it must remain the same as the provider’s URL.
Q. On the left sidebar, there’s a “popular games” section, but it shows categories.
A. That’s just a typo—I’ll update it. -
6 months agovbaba PurchasedA. There are no tags because usually the game providers don’t provide any tags in their API.
- As i said i dont fetch games i add my games. so it is a negative point for manual added games.
A. You can already edit, delete, and change categories of games from /admin/games. I will look into extending this to bulk actions like tagging and unpublishing.
- Yeah but it doesnt make sense to edit/delete/tag them one by one since i have 1000s of games
Q. On the left sidebar, there’s a “popular games” section, but it shows categories.
A. That’s just a typo—I’ll update it.
- One negative thing is no option to add categories to menu. Other than that no popular games, no rating system, no most rated games etc.
There is also a problem with manual adding games. it doesnt matter if i enter multiple categories (like action, sport, racing) when i add the game, the entered categories are created if they dont exist jet but the game is added only to one category.

6 months agoAcvilaSoft PurchasedHi,
I just bought your script to show support and motivate you to improve it.
At this time, this script is already way better than many others, but it's missing a few features, some of which are quite necessary.
I made a list here to be considered for the next update(s).
Keep up the good work!
1. Cookie banner for EU users and GDPR compliance tools (e.g., export user data, account deletion options, etc.)
2. Comment section to boost user engagement
3. Enhanced admin dashboard featuring stats on most played games and most active users
4. “Contact Us” page for user support and inquiries
5. Option to integrate Google Analytics via the admin panel
6. Upgraded leaderboard showing total games played and total time spent
7. Detailed leaderboard on a separate page, with a widget version for the homepage
9. Improved mobile interface and PWA (Progressive Web App) settings configurable from the admin panel
10. Option to select from admin featured games
11. Button to play random games
12. Thumbs Up/Down on games
13. Cleaned up MySQL database -
6 months agoUddipan242 AuthorOkay, noted. Thanks for the purchase and the wonderful suggestions. I’ll be implementing all these features into the script in the upcoming update.
-
6 months agovbaba PurchasedI've just bought the script too and i wanted to suggest the same things too.
