Does this run on Shared Hosting or do I need a VPS?
The application is optimized to run on both. It works perfectly on Shared Hosting (cPanel, Plesk) as long as the host supports PHP 8.1+ and provides database access. However, for the best performance—especially if you plan to have many subsidiaries and heavy data usage—we recommend a VPS (DigitalOcean, Vultr, Linode) to utilize Redis caching and queue workers efficiently.
Do I get the full source code? Is it encrypted?
Yes, you receive 100% of the source code. The application is built with standard Laravel 10 and React 18. Nothing is encrypted or obfuscated, allowing you or your developer team to customize, extend, or modify the code to fit your specific business requirements.
Can I add my own language and currency?
Absolutely. The system is fully Internationalized. It comes with English, French, and Arabic (RTL) out of the box. You can easily add new languages via the settings or translation files. You can also define any currency for your subsidiaries, and the system handles exchange rates automatically.
How do I install the application? Is it difficult?
We have included a One-Click Installation Wizard. You simply upload the files, create a database, and navigate to your URL. The wizard will guide you through verifying permissions and setting up the admin account. Detailed documentation is included in the download package to help you every step of the way.
Can I remove the "Combo Nexus" branding and use my own logo? (White Label)
Yes. The system is designed to be fully white-labeled. You can easily change the Application Name, Logo, Favicon, and Login Page background image directly from the Global Settings panel. There is no hard-coded branding visible to your end-users or subsidiary managers.
Can I disable modules I don't need? (e.g., I don't have Factories)
Yes. You can enable or disable specific sector modules for each subsidiary company you create. For example, if you create a subsidiary that is strictly a Hotel, you can enable the "Hospitality" module and disable "Manufacturing" and "Retail." This keeps the interface clean and relevant for your specific managers.
Does the system support Role-Based Access Control (RBAC)?
Yes, granularly. You can create unlimited custom roles (e.g., "Senior Accountant," "Site Manager," "Auditor") and assign specific permissions to them. You can control who can Create, Read, Update, or Delete records within every single module of the system.
I am a freelancer/agency. Can I customize this and sell the final website to my client?
Yes. You can purchase a license on behalf of your client, customize the branding and features, and hand over the final working system to them. However, you must transfer the license to your client, and you cannot use that same license key for a different client later.
How do I activate the application?
The system comes with an automated license validator. Simply enter your Codester Purchase Code during installation. In some cases, for security validation, new codes may take a short time to sync with our server using a "Pending" status, but they are approved quickly.
