🧾 Instructions

Please read the following instructions carefully before installing or using GroupLink:

• This is a WordPress theme, not a plugin. It must be installed via
  Appearance → Themes → Add New → Upload Theme.

• Make sure your hosting environment meets the minimum system requirements
  (WordPress, PHP, memory limit, etc.) before installation.

• Use the installable theme file (grouplink.zip) only.
  Do NOT upload the full source folder or documentation ZIP.

• After activation, you must flush permalinks:
  Settings → Permalinks → Save Changes
  (This is required for directory URLs to work properly.)

• Create all required pages (Submit Group, My Groups, Bookmarks, etc.)
  and assign the correct page templates as mentioned in the documentation.

• Users must be logged in to submit WhatsApp Groups or Channels from the frontend.

• Frontend submissions are saved as “Pending” by default.
  Admin approval is recommended before publishing listings.

• Do not rename core files or remove theme functions,
  as this may break directory functionality.

• For advanced styling or feature changes, always use a Child Theme.

• Demo content (if provided) is optional and used only for preview purposes.

• Support is provided only through the official marketplace support system.
  Customization or third-party plugin issues are not included in free support.
