Installation Instructions

Quick Installation

1. Download the plugin ZIP file from CodeCanyon
2. Log in to your WordPress admin panel
3. Navigate to Plugins > Add New
4. Click Upload Plugin
5. Choose the downloaded ZIP file and click Install Now
6. After installation, click Activate Plugin

Manual Installation

1. Download the plugin ZIP file from CodeCanyon
2. Extract the ZIP file to your computer
3. Upload the phone_trade_in_referral folder to /wp-content/plugins/ directory
4. Log in to your WordPress admin panel
5. Navigate to Plugins
6. Find "Phone Trade-In & Referral System" and click Activate

Initial Setup

1. Create Pages
   • Create a new page for the trade-in form
   • Add shortcode: [ptir_trade_in_form]
   • Create a page for partner dashboard
   • Add shortcode: [ptir_partner_dashboard]
   • Create a page for partner login
   • Add shortcode: [ptir_partner_login]
2. Add Phone Models
   • Go to Phone Trade-In > Phone Models
   • Click Add New Phone Model
   • Enter model name, base price, and storage options
   • Save the model
3. Create Referral Partners
   • Go to Phone Trade-In > Referral Partners
   • Click Add New Partner
   • Enter partner details and referral code
   • Save the partner (welcome email will be sent automatically)
4. Customize Email Templates
   • Go to Phone Trade-In > Email Templates
   • Select a template to customize
   • Edit subject and body content
   • Use placeholder variables (e.g., {customer_name}, {estimated_price})
   • Save the template
5. Configure Settings
   • Go to Phone Trade-In > Settings
   • Configure general settings
   • Set email notification preferences
   • Save settings

Shortcodes Available

• [ptir_trade_in_form] - Displays the trade-in form for customers
• [ptir_partner_dashboard] - Displays the partner CRM dashboard (requires login)
