APKVault installs itself with a built-in setup wizard. There's nothing to edit by hand upload, open your domain, and follow the steps.

Before you begin

1. In your hosting panel, create a MySQL database and a database user, and note the database name, username and password.
2. Make sure your domain's web root points to the app's public folder. On shared hosting (e.g. Hostinger) the wizard can link public_html for you — see the Storage step.

Run the wizard

1. Upload the product files to your server and open your domain in a browser. The Setup Wizard appears automatically. (On first visit the app prepares itself - no manual key generation needed.)
2. Welcome & Requirements - the wizard checks your PHP version, extensions and folder permissions. Fix anything shown in red (your host can help), then continue.
3. Database - enter your site name, site URL, and the database details from above. Click Test & continue. A loading screen appears while the tables are created - this can take up to a minute; don't refresh.
4. Demo content - choose Import demo content to start with a ready-made catalog (apps, games, categories, collections) you can edit or delete, or Start fresh to begin empty.
5. Admin account - create your login (name, email, strong password). This is your admin account.
6. Storage - the wizard creates the media link automatically. Tick the Hostinger/shared-hosting box if you want it to link public_html to the app's public folder.
7. Finish - done! The installer locks itself for security and shows links to your site and admin.
